The official press release:

Bay Area's Fresh Country station announces new program line-up

SAN FRANCISCO, April 16, 2007 -- When the new 95.7 The Wolf launches the "Y'all-turnative Morning Show" on Monday, April 16 at 5:00 a.m., it will reflect the country station's vow to remain "predictably unpredictable."

The announcement was made by Scott Mahalick, KBWF Prime Minister of Twang.

Hosting the five-hour program will be radio veteran Gill Alexander and ultimate renaissance woman LeBaron "LB" Meyers. Alexander is well-known to Bay Area radio listeners for his on-air roles with KMEL in the evening and, most recently, morning drive at KISS FM. Meyers brings an interesting and varied background to the on-air team, between an investment career, a passion for both basketball and yoga, as the author of the childrenĀ¹s book "Happening of Girroo," and a communications degree.

Marcus Osborne will be executive producer of the new morning show, and he will also have an on-air role. Osborne was a key part of the Alice morning show, particularly his movie reviews, before moving to KMEL where he contributed to the morning show with Chuy Gomez. Most recently, Osborne has been an on-air personality and producer of the "Renel in the Morning Show" on KISS.

Market veteran Sue Hall will deliver news, traffic and information, along with "Information Officer" Eddie King.

New line-up, award-winning hosts

Midday Personality and Music Director Nikki Landry takes the mic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nikki comes to The Wolf from WBEE in Rochester, New York. She was nominated by the Radio Music Awards as one of America's "Best On-Air Country Music Personalities."

Legendary Show Host JoJo Kincaid takes on The Wolf's afternoon drive from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. JoJo has been an air personality in eight of the top 10 markets in America and has been nominated for both Gavin and Billboard "Air Personality of the Year" awards.

Rounding up The Wolf's on-air lineup is Tic Tak, 7 p.m. to midnight, hosting the craziest, most exciting, phone-intensive nightly broadcasts in the Bay Area. Tic Tak's mission, "to put 1,000 people on the radio each night!"

The new 95.7 The Wolf went on the air on March 1, featuring country hit-makers such as Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith, as well as cross-over artists Michelle Branch, Sheryl Crow, Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp and more.

"We've been working with Nashville on new and unique ways to connect artists with the Bay Area music fans, like never before," said Mahalick.
